Miller Gadgets Policy

Warranty & Returns Policy

Warranty coverage, exclusions, inspection, repair, replacement and resolution terms.

Version 1.0Effective date 2026-07-23

This policy explains the warranty, inspection, repair, replacement, return and refund rules that apply to devices and repair services supplied by Miller Gadgets.

1. Scope

This policy applies to purchases made directly from Miller Gadgets. Product-specific terms stated in a listing, invoice or written agreement remain part of the transaction.

2. Pre-owned device warranty

All pre-owned devices purchased from Miller Gadgets include a seven-day limited warranty. The warranty begins immediately when the device is collected from or dispatched from our office.

A fault must be reported before the seven-day period expires. A claim reported on the seventh day may still be processed after the device reaches us, provided the customer supplied evidence and notified Miller Gadgets within the warranty period.

Covered faults

The warranty covers a confirmed functional fault that occurs during normal use, was not caused by the customer, was reported within seven days and is confirmed during inspection.

Excluded faults and events

  • Accidental or physical damage, cracked screens, impact or pressure damage.
  • Liquid or water damage, misuse, negligence or unsuitable accessories.
  • Unauthorised repairs, opening, modifications or work by another technician.
  • Change-of-mind returns or choosing the wrong model, storage, colour, condition or specification.
  • Faults first reported after the warranty period.

3. Fault-specific assessment

Software, charging-port, Face ID, fingerprint, network, overheating, battery, screen and touchscreen complaints are inspected to determine their cause. A confirmed internal fault may be covered. Damage caused by force, dirt, liquid, unsuitable chargers or cables, excessive use, blocked ventilation, physical damage, misuse or unauthorised work is not covered.

Accessories are not covered by the seven-day pre-owned-device warranty unless a separate warranty was specifically stated at purchase.

4. Warranty claim process

Contact Miller Gadgets immediately after noticing a fault. Do not open the device, attempt a repair or take it to another technician before contacting us.

You may be required to provide the device, receipt or other proof of purchase, supplied packaging and accessories, photos or videos of the problem, and a description of how it started. Miller Gadgets must be able to validate the original transaction. Lost packaging does not automatically prevent assessment, but the replacement value of missing packaging or accessories may be deducted from an approved refund or exchange.

5. Inspection and resolution

An initial assessment is normally completed within 24 hours after the device reaches our office. We will explain the likely cause, whether the matter is covered, whether repair or replacement is required, and the recommended next step.

Most covered cases are resolved within 48 hours after inspection. Some cases may take longer because of the nature of the fault, part availability or replacement availability. Any delay will be communicated. A device received on Saturday may not begin processing until the next working day because Miller Gadgets does not operate on Sundays.

6. Repair, replacement, upgrade and refund

A covered device that cannot reasonably be repaired will be assessed for replacement. Where the same model is unavailable, Miller Gadgets will communicate the situation and recommend the most suitable next step based on available stock and the specific case.

Options may include waiting for a suitable replacement, accepting an equivalent model or colour, or upgrading by paying an agreed price difference. An approved replacement device receives a new seven-day limited warranty. No replacement, upgrade, store credit or refund option is automatic; the agreed resolution will be confirmed with the customer.

7. Transportation for eligible claims

For an eligible claim using our approved delivery service, Miller Gadgets covers or arranges transportation of the affected device back to our office. The customer covers delivery of the repaired or replacement device back to their location.

8. Returns and change of mind

A properly supplied and functional device cannot be returned simply because the customer changed their mind, no longer likes it, or selected the wrong model, storage, colour, condition or specification. Customers should confirm all important details before payment.

9. Brand-new devices

Brand-new devices receive the applicable manufacturer’s warranty. The duration depends on the brand, product and manufacturer. Miller Gadgets will help escalate a valid claim through the relevant manufacturer, supplier or service channel, but the warranty remains the manufacturer’s warranty.

10. Paid repair warranty

Repairs generally include a minimum seven-day workmanship warranty covering the specific repair completed. The exact warranty terms are stated when the repair is delivered. Motherboard repairs are complex and fragile; free repeat repair or assistance is not automatically guaranteed and depends on the cause of a later fault.

If a normal repair is unsuccessful, the device will be returned and the customer will not pay the full repair charge, although an approved diagnosis fee may still apply. Where a customer supplies a replacement part, the normal labour or installation fee applies and Miller Gadgets cannot provide the same part warranty for that customer-supplied component.

11. Support after warranty

Miller Gadgets continues to provide technical support and paid repair assistance after the warranty period. Customers who purchased from Miller Gadgets receive a standard 7% repair discount for the first year after purchase. A larger discount may occasionally be offered to loyal or high-value customers.

12. Contact

Report a warranty issue through the official Miller Gadgets WhatsApp account or visit the Ikeja office during opening hours. Never send banking, email, Apple ID, Google, Samsung or social-media passwords.
